You may be a phenomenally successful athlete like Lance Armstrong or Drew Brees (both fit people) or you may be like my client Lisa (also a fit person) who in her 60s decided she wanted to walk with more energy, feel more stable and be able to play with her grandchildren.
If you want to be a part of a boot camp, you will need around four weeks for a full session. If you are not able to take that much time away from home then another option might be to hire a personal trainer who can give you the same nutritional information and workouts but on a one-on-one basis at your own pace and in your own time. This might also be a better option for those who are especially overweight and might struggle even doing the beginning activities at the boot camp.
You want to go to the shows and party? Fine, but do it in private after the work is done and don’t make a fool out of yourself at some industry sponsored get together. Hell, I was virtually poured into a cab at last years Arnold Classic after going to a sushi place with some well know industry types and companies owners (you know who you are!) but at least no one saw me! We had our own little private get together after the show to let loose.
Improving your health fitness can involve too many ways. You yourself can select and participate in different activities that you will surely enjoy. It is a good way to be healthy while getting a self motivation aside. If you love and will take pleasure in playing basketball, then let yourself be engage in that sport maybe twice a week. And if you hate gymnastics then do not force yourself to do it. Find other exercises that will promote a healthy heart but that will keep you motivated and enjoyed.
If you have a fitness expert then they’ll regularly encourage you to carry on, praise you when you’re doing well, and start asking questions if you start slumping. When it comes to fitness, it’s not always easy to get of your butt and into the gym. However, if you know you have someone to answer to, then you’ll be much more motivated to get up and get fit.
